blank observing sheet
Blank observation sheet (1 page/1 per page) - Click to view, then print. This sheet contains lines for observing notes, coordinates, and seeing conditions as well as an eyepiece circle to sketch the object if you wish.
messier objects
The Astronomical League's Messier Club (3 Pages) - This document gives an outline and rules for the Astronomical League's Messier Club. Though observing these objects depends on your skill as an observer and conditions of the sky, all can be seen with a 70mm telescope or binoculars (though some claim that all can be seen with smaller apertures).
The Astronomical League's Binocular Messier Club (2 Pages) - This document gives an outline and rules for the Astronomical League's Binocular Messier Club. Appendix A lists the recommended objects for 7x35, 7x50, and 10x50 binoculars and Appendix B lists objects for 11X80 binoculars.
Messier 1 - Messier 55 (55 pages/1 per page) - Click to view, then print. These sheets contain lines for observing notes and seeing conditions as well as an eyepiece circle to sketch the object if you wish. Data such as coordinates, magnitude, size, constellation, common name, and Messier/NGC number are already filled in. In addition, each object has a grayscale picture with it to simulate what the object might look similar to in your eyepiece.
Messier 56 - Messier 110 (55 pages/1 per page) - Click to view, then print. These sheets contain the same data as above for M56 - M110.
Messier Short List (10 pages/11 per page) - Click to view, then print. These sheets contain the same data as the sheets above in a short form for printing of fewer pages. Each object still has all important information, a thumbnail image, and a section for notes.
